Â* I decided early in the day to cook some pork loin steaks for dinner ,
just didn't know how . Ended up marinating in white wine then S&P and breading with some crumbs I had on hand . Seared them a bit in some olive oil in my medium CI skillet , lowered the heat and added a whole onion sliced thick and a Tbsp of butter . About halfway thru cooking I added a generous dash of Cajun Spice mix (my own) for a little extra zap .. Sides tonight are some green beans and some roasted garlic and ParmesanÂ* baby reds (instant , unfortunately) mashed taters . She should be walking thru the door any minute ... and Max says she's home , he just headed for the front door to greet her . -- Snag Ain't no dollar sign on peace of mind - Zac Brown |

I seldom pan fry anything (and when I dio it's with an absolute minimum of added oil), and about as often do I actually bread/flour anything for frying . The exception is chicken or pork steaks parmesan . But that just gets browned then covered with marinara/cheese and baked . -- Snag Ain't no dollar sign on peace of mind - Zac Brown |
