and are being hit with a major brush fire.

Now something over 3,000 acres, with over 30 buildings destroyed
(officly, reality is probably 100 mobile homes and 50 houses).

Winds well into the 50mph range, and sometimes higher, with single
digit humidity, temps only need to be in the 70s to create a disaster.

Imagine you're a hungry vegetarian Neanderthal man venturing out of
your smoky cave after a wildfire and discovering all your food was
gone, but there on the ground is a woolly mammoth that's been seared
and slowly smoking for 3 days. Then came the most significant
Evolution of Man and "vegetarianism" wasn't heard of again for another
150,000 years.

Unfortunately for them, salt and pepper weren't discovered for another
100,000 years. But the eating of barbecue still remains deeply seated
in our prehistoric jeans handed down from out forefathers.

Not this time, it was farther north by 20-30 miles.

Fire got to 4100 acres, over 80 homes (many mobile homes) destroyed.
