Ok, but I was talking in general. We had a parrot too when I was a
kid. It was normal then, but from a 2017 perspective, it's animal
abuse. On the other hand, chickens and turkeys are even worse off.

Pol was only in his cage, which was a generous size, if we were all
going to be out (my mother feared for her cats) or at night. I used
to trim his flight feathers, price of being allowed in the garden.
