Hi Wayne,
Good to see you again.

I happen to have a half head of cabbage so the timing is perfect.
Normally I'd use a chopped onion but I can see how the dried serves a
purpose. Slaw get rather liquidy as it sits and the cabbage give up
water so the onion would aborb some of it.
