Let them sit in the refrigerator for about a week before you boil 'em.
If eggs are hard to peel, it means you boiled them too fresh.

Best regards,

I have never found this to be the case. Quite the contrary, actually.
Cold makes things contract not expand. I find that I have much better
luck when the eggs are peeled just hot enough to handle without
getting burned. They slip off every single time. I always have a
problem with cold eggs, that membrane just tightens up like panty hose
on a fat lady.

Really ? Think of it every Chef I know and I know a few, and then the ones
on TV say the same thing when the egg whit contracts from the cold it pulls
away from the shell allowing you to peel it cleaner, take the egg, just one
and when they are ready put it in the ice water for 10 min and see, anyway
you proved me correct by saying it does contract when cold, the shell stays
the same,
