Tinypic used to be just fine for posting photos. Then they started with
all the ads and that is simply irritating.

And now these creepy morons (not the ones that are just doing examples) have
started in, so not a place I care to check out much.

Behaves strange too for me. I never look at the ads, but they do take
some time to load. About 10% of the time I never see the photo, but if
I ever want to go back to the link 90% of the time it won't load again.

I agree. You recommended http://postimage.org/ and
http://www.hostpic.org/

Gary is our Hero! With great supertag powers comes great
responsibility. Use it wisely, Gary Majors!

Adblock helps, but you still end up downloading a lot of unnecessary
junk data from places like tinypic and photobucket. There are many
better options out there.

I have to watch what I download because I'm on satellite Internet.
That forces you to notice anything that involves needless junk data.

One thing sites like tinypic and photobucket do is load everything
else *but* the photo you came to look at first... the very last thing
to load is pic itself.

Yeah, both excellent IMO. No account required and no needless bloat.
They just do what you need, no more, no less.

Adblock Plus and Adblock Edge are better. Wasn't it you who suggested
postimage ? That is far superior.

Write down what you did, so you can refer to your note after you
forget how.

That's very good advice. Thank you. I've actually had that problem in
the past. Finally figure out some problem then forget about how I solved
it later.

I'll probably never use tinypic again myself. Until last week I never
knew people could change tags. When sheldon posts his pictures ending in
".jpg" all I ever saw was the actual picture and no tags.

BTW, last night, I did go back and got rid of the racial tags on
Sheldon's pictures about tearing down his spare house. I had nothing
better to do in the middle of the night.

And again to all that might use TinyPic. When posting a pic just add a
tag even if it's just a dash or whatever. that should prevent someone
else from adding a tag. (except for me heheheh)

So, you're saying that if we add our own tags no one can add to them
unless they have Gary's Secret? Guard it like you would Ft. Knox,
Gary!

Yes, that and hostpic.org.
