![]() It's a continuing, big story on the news http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/fro...cL&ocid=msndhp The recall now goes back to prior to 2014. I've purchased the frozen corn, peas and beans. We've already eaten all or some portion of the items in question and haven't gotten ill. 8 people have gotten sick, 2 died -- although not from the listeria. I know we want action on our food safety, but does this kind of recall really do any good? It will certainly hit CRF Frozen Foods in the bottom line. Why aren't there mandatory monthly swabs taken and tested of machinery and surrounds? It seems to me that would be a more proactive step. Janet US |
