I should buy special beers more often. I've been buying Coopers Sparkling Ale for some years now (and still do) but Little Creatures almost makes Coopers taste like crap by comparison. I like the IPA and pale ale, both quite hoppy in an exquisite way. I don't know how they make hops taste so sublime, it has a fruity aftertaste. Cost about $80 a carton vs. Coopers at $56 a carton. When my new shed *finally* gets built (the slab is due to be done in two weeks) I'll get back into home brewing again. I've taken a bit of a hiatus there, aside from distilling, that is. |
