On a beautiful Saturday AM, as the neighbor operates the stupidest use of 50 million year old plant material ever known!! A ****ing LEAF BLOWER!! Using 50 million year old plant material to move today's plant material a few feet over there? BS!! Get a ****ing RAKE! > >John Kuthe... I mow leaves with my 7' mower fitted with mulching blades... the tiny bits are gone in under 24 hours. Where do those people think the topsoil for their > lawn comes from? > My former neighbours were nice people, but they were upset about the leaves that blew over from my trees. They had dug a pond in their front yard, which is about 2 acres, and spread the excavated sandy soil, which really needed some humus. He used to rake up leaves and grass clippings. When he splurged and got a new lawn tractor he got a bagger. I had tried to convince him he would be better off with a mulching blade. Leave the clippings and let them feed the soil. |
