That was back in the late 50s (I saw the original broadcast) and it
fooled a lot of working class people who had not been exposed to foreign
food.

Is it an April Fool's joke or for real? How tough is that meat?
I'm not buying one, but I guess you could say that women have electric
knives, and now there's an electric knife for manly men.

It's a joke. Chainsaws don't really do well at cutting soft
materials. That's why butchers use bandsaws.

Hard to say. IIRC she and her husband are not do-it-yourself types,
so I don't think she has much experience with power tools.

I know one guy who is a bit of a lunatic (or was). He's actually a
nice guy, really. He claims to have butchered a pig with his dad's
chainsaw and made one hell of a mess. I tend to believe him too, since
I also know his past history (his dad also being the boss of the
Adelaide chapter of a certain bikie gang).

Of course. Chain saws are too wide to cut meat. You would loose too
much. Big bone chips would be a problem, though most people might not
make it past the smell and taste of the chain oil in their meat.

Smaller 14" chains are not all that wide and I'm certain any bone
wouldn't be an issue. You could flush the oil reservoir and refill
with vegetable oil. But you'll still ended up making a mess of course

You can use vegetable oil in the chain bar lube reservoir, like I do in
my little electric chainsaw that I use exclusively for cutting up BBQ
wood from my fruit trees, mostly my dead peach and cherry trees. We
had a hot, very dry summer 2 or 3 years ago, and it killed a few of my
fruit trees.

We can only imagine the carnivore delights in her kitchen when we think
about her fixation with cooking her meat as soon as she gets home and
then freezing it.

Butt out "hanging steak", you are interfering with normal operation of this forum. Judgmental oaf, why are you interjecting comments into an obvious two-way conversation with NO mention of YOU whatsoever?

I doubt it makes the sound of a real chainsaw... no electric chainsaw
makes the sound of a real chainsaw... probably the most recognizable
engine sound.

Using 50 million year old plant material to move today's plant material a few feet over there? BS!! Get a ****ing RAKE!

I mow leaves with my 7' mower fitted with mulching blades... the tiny
bits are gone in under 24 hours. I have a leaf blower but rarely use
it, maybe once a year to sweep leaves off my driveway onto my lawn
where I mow them.
