Sorry, I was too busy making a picture of the process for the curry
(now done).

My favorite Altoids were the chocolate covered ones. It sounds stupid but I found them sublime. Too bad they're no longer made.

I've been buying them for a while and no longer find them to be "Curiously Strong." Perhaps they've toned it down for mass appeal. I'm on the lookout for "Ridiculously Strong" mints.

Hard to say. I am going from the color but my camera is hardly a fancy
sort. It seems to auto adjust to what it thinks I want (grin).

Yes, definately not over trimmed on the sides. I'm not too worried if
i am unsure of the line on this between hogget and mutton, but I'd be
suprised if one in the know said this was lamb.

Wow, you just covered one of my favorite franchises in movie history,
and one whole season of one of my favorite series!

I'm surprised at that. I was watching Andrew Zimern in Vietnam and he
said the rats in the rice fields have a much cleaner taste than others.
I have no plans to do a comparison taste test though.

For dinner tonight I had US grass fed lamb chops, not gamey at all.
Very tender and lean. I get them from a local whole animal butchery.

Don't you think our taste buds become less effective as we get older? It
might be that.

They look like ours but local lamb is a mix, grass in summer and grain
in winter.

This seems entirely reasonable - everything else is going South too so
why not?

The short answer is yes, it does become less effective with age, as
does smell.

My excuse is that I'm like a walking chemistry experiment. I'm taking so
many pills designed to alter the way my body works that anything could
blow at any time.

The latest is a diabetes medicine that causes excess sugars to be
flushed out with my urine. My doc asked me if I ever had a yeast infection.

"No, I don't believe so" I chuckled.

"How would you like to start..."

This could get interesting. No yeast infection yet but gas seems to be
the main problem. Well, that's my story and I'm sticking to it!
