Default Soup Maker help

I have just bought a Morphy Richards Saute soup maker which has a non stick
facility. I am anxious to find a 'best' vegetable soup recipe for this
appliance and hopefully you can oblige.

Everyone's tastes differ. Make what you enjoy.

I can't help out with "best for your soup maker", since I make
soup in a pot on the stove. Jeeze, they cost £99.99 (or $254.12
at amazon.com).

But more information is still needed:

Vegetarian?
Chicken-stock based?
Beef-stock based?

What vegetable soup do you already like?

Has a capacity of 1 1/2 quarts... that's $10 a slurp... only an
imbecile would consider buying that POS.... anyone knows how to cook
even a little bit can prepare 1 1/2 quarts of soup in a large coffee
tin. If all someone wants is 1 1/2 quarts of soup simply buy four
tins of Progresso vegetarian vegetable soups, often on sale here at
ten for $10. I don't ever remember cooking any from scratch soup in
an amount less than 12 quarts. Even when I cook doctored ramen I use
a 3 quart pot.

FFS he's looking for advice! Why not be helpful for a change instead of
promoting yourself as a misanthrope?

I was helpful, far more helpful than you, you know nothing POS, at
least I was honest by telling him to shove that stupid contraption up
his dumb ass, sideways.

Beats the heck out of me why anyone would see a need for an appliance to
cook soup. A pot on the stove works fine. I often see it being served
in crock pot/slow cooker gizmos. The thought of an appliance solely for
soup boggles me.
