I jes made a dble batch of a Moroccan tagine made with left-over
turkey. Yum!! I don't know if I've posted this before, but it's really a great dish: <http://moroccanfood.about.com/od/moroccanchickenrecipes/r/moroccan_chicken_with_chickpeas_and_raisins.htm> .....or.... http://tinyurl.com/25e4yv2 It's sweet and spicy, can be made with ANY meat, and includes legumes and veggies. Basically, it's a Moroccan curry. The Ras El Hanout spice blend can probably be purchased in its entirity, but I make my own. The link is included. Oh, an actual clay tagine pot is unnecessary. I use my 5 qt pressure cooker vessel (un-pressured). Only takes about an hour and a half to cook. Good over rice, too. ![]() nb |
