Default Christmas baking

I did my (light) Christmas fruit cakes a couple weeks ago and they are
resting in the freezer, well doused with brandy. Yesterday morning I
made four dozen mincemeat tarts. The mincemeat was store bought, but
well laced with brandy. This morning I made two batches of shortbread.

I need to make a couple more things to have on hand for the holidays. I
am thinking that brownies would be a good idea. Now I am thinking about
another cookie sort of thing that I have had that involves crackers,
butter and brown sugar to make a caramel sort of thing and with
chocolate on top.
