That looks pretty interesting. What I think would be good is a flat rice paddy with nori on both sides which is dipped in some batter and then panko and deep fried. Then place some barbecue chicken between two of those with some Japan mayo. Add a single piece of lettuce to make it healthy. Now that would be special! I guess you could just get a chicken katsu rice burger, dip that in batter and panko and deep fry the whole enchilada. People would probably kill to get something like that!

The L&L down the street has ramen burgers and katsu burgers. They ain't bad at all although, my days of eating food like that are behind me. Hee hee.

Outstanding links from both of you!

Mmmm...a chicken fried burger sounds dangerously tasty.

And a ramen burger is even better.

The 90's were a pretty exciting time here - foodwise. It was the time of Asian fusion and New Hawaiian cuisine. These days everybody does fusion and it's old hat. It looks like we're just trying any kind of goofy thing. The question is what's going to happen next? My guess it's gonna be Asian fusion again but it's not going to be influences from China or Japan but from the rest of Asia.

Makes sense to me Korean is red hot now, and if everyone else's cuisine
is tagging along I'm all in.

Cambodian interests me, perhaps others will gravitate to it also.

Korea is gonna be a major influence in American pop music and fashion too. It will be like the British invasion of the 60's all over again except it'll come from the East.

We need more Cambodians who are willing to open restaurants so
Americans can experience their food and decide if they like it or not.
