And down Sunrise there is a large concentration of auto dismantlers. Mather Air Base is now commercial. Aerojet was involved in a couple of mergers but is stll a presence in RC. Were they still growing hops in the area when you were there? D.M. |

This was not near Watt, where all hop farms were long gone by the 60s, but way out on Sloughhouse Rd. Last time I looked, about 10 yrs ago, Sloughhouse Rd was all "ranchettes" caternig to the wannabe horsey set. Most hops are now grown in OR and WA. ![]() nb |
