I don't remember the exact amount now. I think it was $12-14,
2L Kirkland brand.

That's different than what I buy. I get the one liter for about $9.
I like it.

You're talking about the glass bottle? I buy that one too, but not
this time. Not sure if they even had anything other than the garlic
flavor, but I was going specifically for the big bottle. Their EVOO
selections have been quite "varied" for the last year due to all the
problems in oliveland.

I'm on a Chosen Foods oil kick now. Finding it at Grocery Outlet for
slightly less than $10. Chosen Blend: high oleic organic safflower
oil & a blend of avocado & coconut oil. I haven't given up on TJ's
sunflower seed oil either.

That's cheap. We have a store in town that has good oils, but the price
is very high.

A two liter bottle like you bought would be $117.

Yikes! That should be used as dipping oil in a fancy restaurant, IMO.

I held my breath when I paid $17 for a L of fancy (award winning, they
claimed) Greek oil a few years ago and it wasn't even the most
expensive one in the shop.

Just ran across this conversion chart on the theoliveoilgrove.com, it
might be of interest to someone

Butter = Olive Oil conversion

1 tsp. = 3/4 tsp.
1 tbsp. = 2 1/4 tsp.
2 tbsp. = 1 1/2 tbsp.
1/4 cup = 3 tbsp.
1/3 cup = 1/4 cup
1/2 cup = 1/4 cup + 2 tbsp.
2/3 cup = 1/2 cup
3/4 cup = 1/2 cup + 1 tbsp.
1 cup = 3/4 cup
