You're not sorry and you know it.

Yup, and wild wolves also eat some fruits and veggies. Just not to the
tolerance level evidently of a domestic dog.

I'll try to find the cite for this later but there are a fair number of
them. It basically leads to a domestic dog is used to our leftovers
and over time the ones able to adapt to them survived better so they
tolerate a larger amount in the diet. Some indications of benefit when
used on *proper* amounts (and no, I am not talking dog foods with wheat
as the top item, but a reasonable measure of say sweet potato).

Now the grapes, that's an odd one. Dogs don't tolerate them well at
all. Maybe Coyotes do?

Ah ok!

Missed that. I can't find it in local grocery stores but the pet
stores have it. Daisy-chan is fond of some of the types and so far,
they have quite a few that are wheat free.

Sheba is wheat, corn and gluten free. But apparently it contains poo.

Your problem is you are claiming the rest of us by inference are
feeding shit to our pets.

LOL! Well, not so says my female dog as if you ask her, there's no poo
in Sheba so she's not that fond of it. ;-)

PS: I see now I may have been going to the wrong stores and Sheba is
more available. I will have to try Food Lion an Dollar stores but
frankly, PetSmart works better because the other things I need (like
grain-free kibble) are there.

There is a PetSmart in Beaufort but frankly I don't want to drive to the
other side of town just to buy Sheba cat food. I can buy it at Publix
or Food Lion, much closer.

If I really want to get excited about cat food that doesn't contain
by-products I can always buy Blue Buffalo. Allegedly it's sold at the
weed & feed. Yep, we don't have pet shops but we gots a weed & feed.
