Big to do! It's Fried Chicken Night! The announcement:
http://i62.tinypic.com/29fb4u0.jpg Get there early or the price goes up to $12! So I called ahead. Ordered fried chicken and went and picked it up. This is what it looks like in the to-go box: http://i60.tinypic.com/2cscf37.jpg After that, I put it on a plate: http://i57.tinypic.com/2uqhun8.jpg Photos don't begin to tell the tale. The early bird *does* get what appears to be fried chicken that has been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. (I wonder what it would have looked like if I'd waited until after 6PM and paid more for it?) Is that a piece of corn bread I see? Anyone have a magnifying glass? The texture of the mashed potatoes suggests they came straight out of a box. Oh well. It goes towards the dining minimum. ![]() Jill |
