The jar does say it's a 'cheese dip.' But it works great on those tortilla chips to help any additions cling so they don't slide off onto the plate or in your lap.

So both of you are into that slop cheese dip. It you want *decent* cheese
sauce/dip, all you have to do is melt the cheese with some heavy cream.
