Heh, I wouldn't miss them either.

We had a little bit (and I mean *little* bit) of rain the other day
and explorer ants were everywhere. We don't see them, but all of a
sudden there's a tickle, you rub the area that tickles and a mangled
ant appears on your hand. Gah! It's not going to be a happy time
if/when winter rains come.
