Default Picnic Dinner

We had picnic food for dinner. Cold fried chicken, potato salad, bean
and corn salad and deviled eggs topped with salmon roe. Didn't miss
the ants one bit.

I'm not a great fan of bean and corn salad but the other stuff looks scrumptious and I could eat my weight in deviled eggs! I have to be careful not to make a pig of myself when those eggs are around.

Heh, I wouldn't miss them either.

We had a little bit (and I mean *little* bit) of rain the other day
and explorer ants were everywhere. We don't see them, but all of a
sudden there's a tickle, you rub the area that tickles and a mangled
ant appears on your hand. Gah! It's not going to be a happy time
if/when winter rains come.
