Those are the ones who became a cop so they could drive fast and kick
ass in complete confidence that no one will arrest them.

Well, some of the skinheads carry Nazi flags and Nazi tattoos, and they do
the Heil Hitler thing too, that's a fact. I just watched a special on it,
and it does carry over from Nazi Germany when a lot of the German immigrants
to the USA were pro Hitler.

Those types definitely have arrogant attitudes that can be spotted a mile

Here we go (again) with the political crap. What the hell does any of
this have to do with Dave's Canadian Thanksgiving?! People really
should stop bleeding it into every *food related* thread on rfc. You
want to talk politics? Find another newsgroup. I'm sure there are
plenty out there.

Way to kill the spontaneity. People say move to another group,
but that never happens. And really, this is thread drift which
is a natural part of conversations at the table. This isn't a
lecture hall. It's a motley group of persons with varying
interests one of which happens to be food. Chill.

It's pretty easy to spot when a thread has drifted and to ignore it if
you're not interested. I do it all the time.

Wow, that is one nasty comment, sf. Yikes!

Gary's comment was actually quite the asinine comment aimed directly at you
and he said 'most of us' here think you are strange and 'most of us don't
believe your nonsense' You are okay with that, but you don't care why
anyone else would care what I say?

Since when can someone not post something just because another someone
doesn't 'know' them?

I also have no idea why Jill quoted me and then went on a tear about
political discussions here. My comment was anything but.

BTW, my dh and I grew up in your 'hood' according to you anyway.

Most of those are marked OT and I can (as can you) certainly skip over
them. Arguing about international and Canadian vs. US politics on RFC
is stupid. Nothing is to be gained. Want to talk politics? Start a
new thread so I can easily skip over it rather than read a post in hops
of finding a mention of FOOD. This one started about a Canadian turkey
dinner. It rapidly devolved into who the hell knows what the ****
anyone is talking about.

Easy enough to skip over just as the pictures of Sheldon's trees.
Somehow those posts don't turn into political discussions. Thread drift
is certainly to be expected. But there are certain players here who
*always* manage to turn it to politics rather than sticking to "we're
having roast turkey with bread stuffing". Go figure, it's got to be the
fault of someone the turkey can't be had with stuffing therefore it must
be the Republicans. Good lord. Enough already.
