I have seen her make a lot of claims here that are just too far fetched to believe. Then there are the constantly changing stories and the later denials. If we were to deal with her in real life we would be able to tell if she was lying by watching to see if her lips move. Due to the nature of the medium it changes to if her fingers are typing it. She is one of many characters on usenet who don't appreciate the value of credibility. When you get caught lying people have reason to doubt your claims. When you are caught lying repeatedly, everything you post should be subject to scrutiny. |

She is so adamant about recycling, and has been long before it became required. She'd be a very loud voice in your community insisting on it. She's also someone who plugs all of her electronics in power strips so she can turn everything off and basically unplugged. If she ever found out those power strips still consume energy she'd have a fit. Drives me crazy going over to her house because she'll insist as soon as I'm done with something, turn off the power strip. LOL I am disabled. One of my problems is balance issues. I also can't lift my foot up very high or bend over well. I did try to do this and had to use my reaching tool. It took a very long time. There certainly is a lot of noise when you stomp cans. I only own shoes and boots. Nobody in this house owns flip flops. I don't consider them to be appropriate footwear, except perhaps for use in a shower or after a manicure. |

I had no clue that someone put you in charge of wives and mothers! Are you disabled Janet? Well my husband and I both are. Daughter isn't. But after her having a stress fracture in her back and subsequent injuries after that, plus learning that most likely because of this, one side of her body is stronger than the other, I sure as shooting am not going to make her stomp cans. I can't do it either. Husband works 12 hours shifts, often at night. You run your house the way you want. It's not your business to be telling others how to run theirs. |

Is your husband a cancer survivor, a disabled veteran and does he also currently work 12 hour shifts? Thought not. Seems there is a whole lot of judging going on here. |

It sounds like you > have an endless supply of them. I have to sometimes but that isn't what they want us to do. I do flatten down all but one and put those in the one intact one. But some weeks we have enough cans that they have to go into a box as well. I just had to contact them because this is the 2nd week in a row that our trash can't wasn't fully emptied. I know that they use a machine to dump the cans and I know that things will stick in there. But this stuff seems loose. The problem is that I don't know what this stuff is. Only that it didn't come from here. What I can see is some really thick kind of plastic in blue and clear. Almost like sheeting but it is sort of shaped like it went over a pallet or something. It is wet and disgustingly stinky. There is stuff under it too. I know that what I probably should do is take it out, then fill the can with trash then put this on the top. When we put the bags of trash in it, they are likely pushing this stuff down and maybe it sticks but... When I lifted it with just a finger, it slid right out. Seeing as how it is wet and stinky and I have no clue where it came from, I do not want to touch it. I wish whoever is using our cans would stop it! I used to blame the high school kids as our address used to be the high school bus stop. Of course now that daughter is in high school, it no longer is. But someone is still putting things in there and not always in the right bin. I keep finding weird beer cans, Capri sun, apple cores... None of that stuff came from here. I guess it is good that whoever is doing it is not littering but I shouldn't have to pay for them to dispose of things. |

I do take extra B as my diabetes med depletes the body of it. And there isn't enough caffeine in colas to give me a caffeine high. I used to take tons of caffeine pills and drink pots of coffee. Only three times do I remember caffeine affecting me and I consumed waaaay more than normal in an effort to stay awake. Twice, I was a minor. |

Yes, I claimed it because she did say it. Actually not just that. She said water or diet drinks. And she might be the odd one out but she actually prefers the water. I won't say that she never drinks diet drinks. Or coffee because she does drink that and also tea. But mostly she drinks water. We just got a free case of 24 bottles today. Buy 3, 12 pack cases of Coke products and get that free. She and my husband like it. I don't. I prefer Spring water when I do drink water. |
