Actually I have looked. The one in Woodinville has moved. Purrfect Pals is in Arlington. There are all sorts of places around here to get shelter cats. But the shelters themselves are not near here. All of our cats are shelter cats. |

At any rate, we have no bedding to get rid of so it's a moot point. And the last things that we did get rid of were memory foam mattress toppers. I highly doubt that they'd want those. Our cats act like they are hot lava. |

Maybe no the pillows, though. Thanks for mentioning that Cheryl, every animal shelter is different, but most of them can use you old wash cloths, hand towels, bath towels. We replace our kitchen towels fairly often, and we are happy to donate our old ones to the local animal shelter. Becca |

But the shelters here are all not only in other cities but parts of those cities that I have no reason to go. AFAIK I have never thrown out any blankets. I have given some to Value Village. For some reason, people seem to like to buy me blankets and I wind up with far too many. The quilt that I got rid of was in very poor shape and I doubt that even an animal shelter would have wanted it. Pretty sure that they wouldn't want the decrepit, shredded towels either. They were akin to rags. Or the memory foam mattress toppers. |

One is PAWS which was mentioned. It is in a part of Lynnwood where I have no other reason to go. Quite a drive from my house. The other was out in a remote area near Marysville. And another in Arlington. I'm not even sure that they would want old bedding as they have women who make little blankets for every pet. And when you adopt a pet, you get a new blanket to take home with you. |
