![]() "ImStillMags" > wrote in message ... I haven't bought any Charles Shaw at TJ's for years, now I don't need to bother. I'll buy other wines there, real ones....but not this dreck. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/quora/...ushpmg00000063 The basic gist of it all is that Two Buck Chuck is owned by Bronco Wines, which is owned by Fred Franzia, a trash-mouthed, unapologetic downright crude and shrewd business man who sees it as his mission to pretty much remove any shred of pretentiousness (and dare I say integrity and quality along with it) from the wine world. snip _____ yawn. Gee, a guy who owns more than just a winery has no integrity? Is evil? Gee, planting long rows in your vineyard to be more efficient is some horrendous crime? Owning a lot of land is problematic? Mechanical harvesting is not done by others? This is a bunch of crapolla. |
