The Japanese love egg art, but they use plastic molds for it.

They grow watermelon into shapes too

Westerners grow pears in bottles and then fill the bottles with pear
brandy. http://cookingupastory.com/growing-a-pear-in-a-bottle

There are four sides to a carton of milk. If you're going to all this
trouble, go ahead and cook four eggs and use each side of the cut-down
paper milk carton. Of course you'll need more "sticks" (I call those
wooden skewers; I have a whole drawer full of them.) And you'll need
more rubber bands. <G>

Not for me! I only possible use I can think of would be for someone who
wants to be "creative" on Valentine's Day (and is willing to spend an
inordinate amount of time doing it).

They even made it look difficult to *peel* the egg!!

I agree, it might be cute for Valentine's Day. And of course you could
boil four eggs at a time and use all four sides of that cut-apart milk
carton. I think it's probably not easy to peel a still hot hard
boiled egg.

What do you do with them when you're done? Make deviled eggs, I
suppose. Do be careful not to mess up the heart shape.

Yes, that would be a great idea for deviled eggs for a special occasion for
someone who would be willing to put all that time into it. I actually enjoy
just eating a hard boiled egg, but deviled eggs would be more special.

Eat the egg halves with a generous dash of Tobasco sauce. :-)

Can't say I've ever peeled a hot hard boiled egg, but I peel hot soft
boiled eggs (for breakfast) quite often and it's not difficult.
