Cornbeef Wrap
Cornbeef, Whole Grain Mustard and
Sautéed Onions in a Spinach Tortilla
Choice of Side
$8.75

I do find these menus amusing. Ahem. That's "corned" beef. Two
separate words. Just like roastbeef is two words.

Who the hell eats corned beef in a spinach tortilla?

I did enjoy my home cooked corned beef, but I'm done with it for the
month. I went to the Club last night. I got a bowl of crab bisque.
And an order of cassoulet to bring home. (They spelled it cassoule.)

The joint was jumping! They had a jazz band. I've *never* seen so many
people in there!

That's why I ordered cassoulet and a bowl of crab bisque.

Try one for lunch. If it's good, go

Sorry, but corned beef in a spinach tortilla doesn't sound at all
appetizing.

For that cheap price, Jill, I would try one since you need to spend so
much money for the year anyway. Try one for lunch. If it's good, go
back and buy a couple more to freeze for later. Eat the extra sides
and save the wraps for later?

Do what ya gotta do, Jill. In the mean time, I'm as entertained by
their menus are you are. Hopefully grammar and spelling on the menu
improves with the new chef.

I'd remove the meat, throw out the bread and work with what's left.

Jill: I think you covered this before, but would they sub a Kaiser roll
;-) or rye bread for the tortilla, or don't they allow substitutions?

Oh, I'm sure they'd substitute if I asked. I can't imagine why anyone
would think corned beef belongs in a tortilla.

You should try it and just not assume it won't taste good. It's like getting out of the house more often.

I don't know. Chef Penn isn't officially gone yet. They were making
"wraps" featuring spinach tortillas last month. Seems like they're
using up leftovers.

They have green tortillas left over from St. Paddys day. The spinach
tortillas don't really taste like spinach.
