Default Breakfast: chorizo w. broad beans

2 chorizos, sliced thinly
1 onion
lots of garlic
a little sambal oelek
oregano

Fry these until cooked

frozen broad beans
lots of kalamata olives
1 cup red wine

Add these, and simmer until beans are cooked

Add:
water
tomato paste

Simmer for a few more minutes, and serve with pasta.

Quick and easy, and a good starter to the day.

Sounds orroight.

Brekky for me was some leftover roast chicken broken up with some
diced bacon, pan fried with onion and two halves of tomato.
And an sliced avocado on the side.

Well there is chorizo and then there is chorizo. Whre you from boy? What is pasta? Sounds a bit Eyetalian to the untrained eye. I am fixing to get ****ed off here. Thanks.

As already noted above, "Spanish-style chorizo". Which is the kind one mostly finds here in Australia. But various other chorizo will work, if "sliced thinly" is meaningful.

(The recipe is evolved from a Spanish recipe.)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pasta
Works as a Scrabble word in English, so English enough despite the origins. But it's useful to be aware of the foreign etymology and the evolution of the word, since the culinary result is so different if one serves the meal with paste instead of pasta.

(Probably serve this more often with rice than with pasta, but it's close to 50/50.)
