Default Lunch Special: Swedish Meatball Sub Sandwich?

Yes, folks, once again the chef at the Club is going all out.

Swedish meatballs simmered in brown gravy, then smothered in sauteed
peppers, onions and topped with American cheese. Served on ciabatta
bread. $8

I like Swedish meatballs. But this sounds to me like a way to use up
meatballs which may have been on the menu last night or the night
before. American cheese... hmmm. Well, at least it's not on a kaiser
roll.

Oh Jill!!! I happen to know that you will be most upset if it is not on a
kaiser roll! Perhaps if you speak to the chef nicely ....

Don't forget to have him add some cole slaw to that roll too. ;-)
Hope you are having a good visit with that John fellow.

I would never associate American cheese with Swedish meatballs.
Sounds unnecessary and yucky. ;-\

Same here. In fact, it would never occur to me to serve Swedish
meatballs on a sandwich. Open faced, perhaps. Topped with American
cheese? Nope.
