While several states have now legalized pot (marijuana), it's still
illegal where I live. Besides that, I'm just not into smoking pot or
doing any drugs at my age. When I was young, we would smoke pot all the
time. After awhile I got bored with it, and after awhile I just stopped
using it.

Well, I'm too old to be playing around with illegal substances, and dont
really care to get doped up anymore.

I used to really like pot roast, and back then neither me or my friends
worried about getting in trouble with the law for doing a little pot.
In them days, if the cops caught you with a dime bag of pot, they'd just
take the bag, and we all knew that they would be smoking it themselves
later that night. They only arrested guys who had large amounts of it.

But times have changed. I dont really want to face all the legal
hassles of getting caught with pot, nor do I care to ingest it.

I'd like to make a pot roast, but leave out all the pot. This would be
a safe and sober meal, and nothing more. Safe enough I could invite a
police officer over for dinner, and sober enough that I was not
hysterically laughing over nothing, nor falling down on the floor after
dinner.

The problem I see, is this: It cant really be a pot roast without the
pot, so what other name can a person give it? Till a better name is
found, I'll just call it a Potless Pot Roast.
