Actually the ADA advocates brushing and flossing after eating. Other than
freshening breath, very temporarilly, OTC mouth washes essentially do
nothing... and used indescriminately some mouth washes are actually harmful...
rinsing and gargling with plain old salt water is far better for promoting good
oral hygiene, and a heck of a lot less money.
