I have only been to visit his grave twice. I would probably go more often but he is buried in in a war graves cemetery in Denmark. I am currently sitting here waiting for a phone call from a woman in the UK. She is the niece of Dad's pilot. He and the other crew members were killed when their plan was shot down in April 1943. Seventy eight years ago today he was wandering across Sjaelland hoping to find a way over to neutral Sweden. |
