Oh, GLORia. . .
I salute you, the noble State of Colorado, and the excellent peaches
which are grown there. $20 for 44 count. The first batch of Peach Jam is complete and it is as good as Peach Jam can be. I'll take the Colorados over the Georgia peaches I had last summer (off a truck and about 4 days away from ripe) any day. Mmwwaahhhh! -- -Barb, <http://www.jamlady.eboard.com> 8/3/05 New York-Vermont tab (a couple pictures added to the 7/29 note on 8/5) |

Those self-same peaches are a freakin' $1.99 a pound here in the Denver area this week. I made peach chutney last year. Spiced peach jam sounds good if/when they go on sale. South Beach be darned.... gloria p |
