Default The Dill Pickle Score

For years I have been enjoying Strubs dill pickles and I was down to the
last one since both of us forgot to buy more on our last three weekly
shopping trips. I was really impressed with the dill pickles served
with sandwiches at out local bakery coffee shop. On Sunday I asked the
owner what brand the dills were. I was especialy interested because
there was a newspaper article that day about Strubs being in very rough
financial shape and that they may be shitting down.

The owner didn't know the name, but said they are a premium product
available only from wholesalers and offered to order some for me. She
said they were about $15 for a tub. I was in there today and she said
my pickles had come in... not bad... two days. and they are only $12.25.

Holy Cow.... It was not a large tub. It was a pail... 8 liters... two
gallons. I enjoyed a couple of them with my lunch today. I think I
have enough dill pickles to last me at least a year.

We like some pickles at a local restaurant too but they are only sold in a
restaurant pack. Waaaay too many for us.

I would be more embarrassed about my typo if it hadn't taken you a week
to spot it. ;-)

I suppose it's better than shitting up, which could get kinda messy.

I don't look here more than about once a week. Must've been my lucky
day. <shrug>
