I am wrong!!!! I went back and looked again. The tips of those
markers are in Massachusetts, but the places they are marking are
not. I was thinking I have never heard of Pownal, Mass., but then
I wondered whether I had heard of every tiny town out in Western Mass.

I apologize for not figuring this out earlier. You are (and were)
