Yo that man!
Well, we remembered your advice and DIDN'T fire off our air-powered siren yesterday when we left Gangplank Marina. Truth is, by the time we left, at around 10am, all the good employed civil servants would have been well out of bed and at their desks. We had a great time in SW Washington - even watched the Niners beat the Redskins on Sunday in the Cantina Marina bar. Freezing our butts off tucked in behind Cobb Island at the moment on our way back down the Potomac. Maybe make it to Norfolk tomorrow night? I hope Italy is a damn sight warmer than this when we get there ![]() Hoges in WA. |

I often thought if I ever went back I'd live on a boat. If you want it warmer, don't get here until late April unless you want to spend some time in Sicilia and Puglia to start. |

Just been a very quiet boy for the last 10 years. Made it down the Potomac under severe squall conditions yesterday to Reedville, where we anchored overnight. Was down to low 30's - near on froze to death. Made it to Deltaville today, happily ensconced in a marina on Jackson Creek. The Air Con works on shorepower so we're warm and happy and thinking of ordering in Pizza from Bella's Pizzeria. See you in a couple of years maybe ![]() Hoges above Zero |
