Hot chocolate... that stuff with sugar and caffeine?

You are what you eat, so avoid fruitcake and nuts.

The caffeine is insignificant. The hot milk (tryptophan), with the sugar
seems to cause a hypoglycemic reaction in me that puts me in tired drowsy
state.

It is the prescription water pills that often wakes me up during the night

I swear by my big honkin' mug of hot milk after a long night at work. I
add just a smidgeon of cocoa (barely enough to color or flavor it, but
enough for me) and one packet of artificial sweetener. It works like a
charm for me!

If you're being woken up at night because of your diuretics, you're
taking them too late in the day. This is a cause of accidents to older
folks which is unnecessary.

I take them early in the morning. Being active during day I it does not
seem to have an effect. But when I relax day or night... Then I get hit!
