Throw in Molly Ivins and John Henry Faulk (both of blessed memory), and
you'd have quite a time!

OB Food (Texas BBQ, to be exact): One of the best places in Dallas I
found for BBQ was right across the street from UT-Southwestern Medical
Center, Anderson's. I don't know if they're still there, but they had
some fine brisket. The original Sonny Bryan's was right around the
corner on Inwood Road, but you could actually sit down at a real table
at Anderson's. Sonny's had old-style school desks--if you were lucky
enough to find a seat.

'fear on trial' was an account of faulk's run-in with the blacklist and one
of my favorite dramas of all time:

george c. scott at his scenery-chewing best as louis nizer. i taped it off
the air and watched it many times.

faulk also had a minor role in 'the best man':

....another stone gas and all-time favorite.

your pal,
