When BC first came on, I wondered out loud (here) why that
name sounded so familiar. Someone nicely pointed out that it
was an Ava Gardner movie, and they didn't even call me dummy.

You didn't miss much. I wasted hours of my time watching the so
called Humphrey Bogart classics that I had heard about....such as
"Casablanca" and "Barefoot Contessa".....bleh bleh BLEH.......

Hah ... I suppose I should see them to fill the gaps in my movie

Counterpoint: Casablanca is a good one. I've never seen Barefoot
Contessa. Although it's a classic, I didn't like African Queen.
