Default Rene Verdon - dead

Hubby popped the question at Le Trianon and Reneé came out to
congratulate us. <sentimental sniffle>

Sad news indeed. He probably died while reminiscing about the horror of
cooking for a Valentine's Day crowd.

A great San Francisco restaurant. I think Rene Verdon's Boeuf Bourguignon
was better than anything we have had in France.

Did he have anything to do with Le Cyrano, the French restaurant on Geary
street in San Francisco? I recall that he did, though I can't confirm that.
Le Cyrano had the best sweetbreads ever.

We miss the old daze.

Kent
