americas obsession with guns is well known throughout the more
civilized world. Our more enlightened brothers and sisters in Europe
has already banned handguns in their countrys and may wonder why the
USA-ians have not done the same in the US, especially with the
sprillaling rising crime rate and out of control handgun violence
statistics.
Now with terrorism part of daily life, the threat of gun violence is
even more real. Why do USians persist in their irrational love affair
with guns? Inferiority complex, or just a bunch of violent thugs? Yes
that is a little immflmmatary but alls Im trying to get is my message
across here! Whats it going to take to get america to see the light?
We need a less violent world, and we could start by banning guns and
steering away from the republican mentality.
This is a new year and time for a new start people!
