Default The Eve's Eats

Boston has a lot going on tonight: ice sculptures and a gorgeous tree in
Copley Square, the Boylston Street parade, fireworks, and all the First
Night goings-on. But it's OUTSIDE, for cryin' out loud. In the DARK.

We won't have as much activity inside my warm and well-lit aerie (although
we will watch the fireworks on TV) but we sure will have some tasty eats.
Golden Temple in Brookline (the ne plus ultra in Chinese food around here)
will be delivering dinner:

Crab Rangoon, Chicken Satay, Asian Grilled Lamb Chops, and Boneless
Spareribs

Spicy Grilled Lamb, General WhatsHisName's Chicken, Vegetable Pad Thai, and
Eggplant with Pork

Lemon Cake and Milk Chocolate Cake (how Chinese do they sound?)

So I don't have to worry about anything but opening the Prosecco to toast
the New Year at Greenwich Mean Time. Then it's early to bed and early to
rise, while the rest of you are sleeping it off.

I wish you all a splendid New Year.

Felice
