About 7 pm west (US) coast time - cocktails - probably martinis -
with a terrific chicken liver mousse from a local small vendor
called Chop; mousse offered with thin apple and pear slices or
thinly sliced baguette. That should get us to about 8:30 to 9.

Then give it a rest until about 11. Crack open a bottle of champagne
and we should be taking the last swig just at midnight.
