Spaghetti Sauce Recipe
Easy Italian-Style Tomato Sauce * 2 to 3 tablespoons olive oil * 2 medium onions * 1 medium green pepper, chopped * 1 clove garlic, minced * 1 tablespoon salt * 1/4 teaspoon pepper * 1 can (6 ounces) tomato paste * 2 cans (14.5 ounces each) diced or crushed tomatoes * 1 teaspoon dried leaf oregano * 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese |

It will cook down somewhat. We don't like pasta swimming in sauce. |

For me that's enough for 1 pound pasta (3-4 portions), 6 meata balles heros, 6 eggplant/veal parm. I would double the recipe and freeze the left overs... actually if I'm going to bother I'd prepare 6 times that recipe and freeze 1 pt containers. |
