I did the wanton wrapper cheese mix 'rellenos' thing that Koko did awhile
back, but I (as usual) changed it up a bit and made it a bit more eggy, addded jalapenos on top instead of olives, but left them off some and added prawns as we had some guests who can't handle *anything* with any heat in it. Everybody loved them and quite a few askd how I made them, so I can see that they will be apparing next time I go to their places for a 'gathering' :-) Making them in front of everyone was pretty good too, putting it together, slamming them in the oven, wait about 5 mins, pull out, on the tray and *gone* in a flash!! The wonton wrappers before going in the oven.... http://tinypic.com/m/biw8yd/3 Baked and set aside for use later........ http://tinypic.com/m/biw8ye/3 Making the mix, mine was more eggy, making it quiche like....... http://tinypic.com/m/biw8yf/3 Just checking Koko's recipe :-) http://tinypic.com/m/biw8yg/3 This is my "Fire in the hole" version, an additional shot of Sriracha sauce on the base. http://tinypic.com/m/biw8yh/3 Some straight out of the oven....... http://tinypic.com/m/biw9b6/3 Even made some with prawns/shrimp in them....... http://tinypic.com/m/biw9b7/3 There used to be a trayful........ http://tinypic.com/m/biw9b8/3 -- Peter Lucas Hobart Tasmania The act of feeding someone is an act of beauty, whether it's a full Sunday roast or a jam sandwich, but only when done with love. |

Thank you for the initial idea :-) I'll be doing them again as a quick snack or starters when we have a multitude/horde come over again..... in October, for the SO's 50th :-) > Your's look way yummier I'm going to have to try > them your way. > As far as the taste goes, I'm only going on what everyone told me, as I wasn't able to try any :-( If I'd eaten any, I would have ended up feeling sick and in too much pain to be able to get the rest of the food out, so I just stuck to cooking the food, and drinking G&T's :-) -- Peter Lucas Hobart Tasmania The act of feeding someone is an act of beauty, whether it's a full Sunday roast or a jam sandwich, but only when done with love. |

Captain Peter Swallows coughed up some semen from way back in his throat:

I guess you're not quite as killfiled as Swallows would like people to believe. I also see that Swallows never actually answered your question. Far as I can tell, there can only be two possibilities: 1. Swallows' friends are dense as diggers. 2. Swallows made the whole thing up. I didn't look at the pictures, of course, but did they show any PEOPLE, or was it zoomed in so far that you couldn't tell that Swallows was all alone? Bob |

(cut endless plagiarized bullshit) Holy crap, is there ANYTHING peter lucas won't stoop to in order to gain attention?!? Multiple nyms, fake 'enemies', off topic garbage, and not forgetting the plagiarized recipes and quotes! Thing is, peter, you make a notably bad liar, even after all the years of experience you've had doing so on this list. LOL what a sad, sad excuse for a human you make! -- Oats |

He cannot help himself but to read ALL such posts. What the semen gulper says and does are two totally different things! > I also see that Swallows never actually answered your question. As usual, peter lucas merely googled the pictures, then edited the exif data accordingly. Nothing new there for our good 'friend' peter 'swallows' lucas! |
