I've never made it myself, but the huge gulf in quality between the best I've had and the worst I've had makes me say yes. The best I've had was brought back from a specialty store in Cairo by my Kuwaiti in-laws several years ago. They were so unrelievedly good I hid them and metered them out one at a time to the family, trying to avoid the sorrow that comes with finding the empty box in the pantry after someone binged. Jon |
