Default Need help from you grilling folks NOW!

If you see this in time...

Okay, I have done some grilling in my lifetime, but not as much as
many of you have... Last few times I have used my grill, it has been
someone else manning the grill.....

This time I am doing it by myself...

I have my coals getting ready..and many of them are white hot, except
the top coals. Should I tip them out into the grill now? Or wait
til the tops ones show some ash?
