Yeah, I can't imagine eating from those. Just looking at them would
cause indigestion.

I think that "Ring" pattern is the worst - it would make you seasick
just sitting at the table!

I used to have some of these but I only paid $3.99 at the local grocery
store for them:

B001L65G1U/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&s=home-garden&qid=1274903195&sr=8-6>

Only problem is that they were not microwave proof and cracked. The
whole point of having plastic dishes is that they don't break! Melamine
does. :-(

I finally found some dark blue plastic plates that are sturdy, look nice
and are microwavable and only paid $1.50 each for them.

That is one very loud plate! <lol> Melamine tends to crack in the
microwave but other than that, it's ok....

I own very little of it tho'.

I find a plain white plate the best for food presentation.

I have to disagree. Having done some food photography myself, white is
the worst as it tends to glare at you and make color and contrast
adjustments very difficult.

IMHO flat black is best but I've used multi-colored plates as well as
solid red or blue. White with a border works as the border color gives
your photoediting program something to work with.

Okay, just looked at your pic and that is very good! You got excellent
shadowing to get rid of the white glare I've seen in so many white plate
pics...

I agree. White, black. At least something plain and compatible
with what is on it.
