![]() I guess some would call it refrigerator soup. I call it "I don't know where in the heck I'm going with this soup" I had some homemade chicken broth and half a can of whole peeled tomatoes, that needed to be used. I started digging through the refrigerator and here's what I ended up with. http://i40.tinypic.com/219s7ev.jpg Close up. http://i44.tinypic.com/9ko55y.jpg Pretty darned good if I say so myself. The step by step is on my blog if you are interested. koko -- There is no love more sincere than the love of food George Bernard Shaw www.kokoscorner.typepad.com updated 03/15/10 |

Kale makes for a nice texture in a medium-long simmering soup. I always have to add little meatballs, no matter what becomes of it. -sw |

So easy to grow as well! I'll have a go at making a Kale soup in the next few days, been meaning to try Kale soup for quite some time. -- The power of accurate observation is commonly called cynicism by those who haven't got it - George Bernard Shaw |

But Kale is still my favourite, it just has a certain taste and texture. I can pick a few leaves of each, quickly steam them and eat it as-is. Yum. -- The power of accurate observation is commonly called cynicism by those who haven't got it - George Bernard Shaw |
